POOL RULES & REGULATIONS 2023

Please read and be familiar with ALL pool rules. All rules must be followed, NO EXCEPTIONS! These rules are here for your safety and the safety of your guests.

*Adults = 16 years or older *Youths= 10-15 years old *Child= 9 and under

CLUBHOUSE OFFICE HOURS:

Tuesdays 9:00 am — 12 :00 pm (starting June 1, 2023)

ADULT SWIM:

Adult swim is on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During that time lifeguards will be checking the pool for any foreign objects, checking chemicals in water, checking pool tags, and taking care of any other duties expected of them. Mondays from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. children are welcome.

KEY CARDS:

Everyone must have their key card to be admitted. If you do not have your card, you will be asked to leave. These are permanent cards for future pool seasons PLEASE DO NOT THROW AWAY THESE CARDS. Replacement cards will cost $50.00 to replace and can be picked up at the Clubhouse during Clubhouse hours. lot owners (in good standing) are given 2 key cards per household. You must have a $0 balance and no violaüons against your property.

SW1M PARTIES:

No pool parties during the 2023 Pool Season due to low staffing issues.

GUESTS:

• Guests can only use pool if accompanied by resident. Residents are on an honor system. If you go over 5 guests during the season, please volunteer to pay $3 a guest. Money can be given to the lifeguard. Only 5 guests allowed at each pool visit, you can not pay for extra guest over 5 at any one visit.

WEATHER:

If weather conditions deteriorate, a long whistle blow is to be used along with the guard standing and pointing towards the sky. This should alert swimmers of bad weather conditions. Swimmers are not allowed back in the pool area until 30 minutes after the last thunderclap is heard or lightning is seen. The pool may be closed on any day for maintenance, health conditions, weather conditions or any other reason deemed sufficient by the Board of Directors or the Management Company.

POOL RULES:

1.      Adults are responsible for their own children and guests. Lifeguards are not babysitters. No children under the age of 16 will be permitted without an adult.

2.      Children 3 and under who are not potty trained must wear a swim diaper under their swimsuit. The swim diaper alone is not considered a bathing suit. Disposable and cloth diapers are not allowed. NO resident over the age of 6 is allowed in the baby pool.

3.      Appropriate swim attire MUST be worn in the pool areas at all times. What you deem "fashionable" may be offensive to others. Please remember that these pools are family pools and small children may be present.

4. No glass containers are allowed in pool area. No beverages of any kind are allowed IN the pool or on the SIDE of the pool deck! Lifeguards and Board members will enforce these rules.

5. Bikes, skateboards, skates, roller blades, and scooters are to be left in the designated spot by the pool entrance.

6.      No running, diving, shoving, dunking, throwing of children or hard toys allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, the diving torpedoes, hard plastic water toys, hard balls, tennis balls or rocks. At the lifeguards' discretion, anyone may be asked to leave the pool for improper behavior. Please refer to Low Tolerance Policy.

7.      Personal conduct in the pool and the bathhouse must be such that the safety of the individual and others is not jeopardized. Pool toys and rafts will be allowed with the approval of the lifeguards. If conditions change (such as number of people in the pool) the guards have the right to request the toys/rafts be removed without question.

8.      No one with bleeding open sores or wounds will be permitted in the pool.

9.      No Pets are allowed in the pool.

10. Profanity, improper behavior and intoxication are not allowed. REMEMBER: This is a family facility. You WILL be asked to leave

11, SMOKING is permitted in designated areas only. One area will be found outside the pool gate and the other in the BBQ area.

12. Vandalism will not be tolerated. You are responsible for your children and guests. If pool property is destroyed, the entire family will have their pool privileges revoked for the season and a fine may be assessed. The Board of Directors will review all cases of vandalism. Vandals are subject to prosecution to the full extent of the law.

13. If feces are found in the pool, it will be closed down for 1 hour. The pool will reopen once the feces are removed and there is an application of chlorine. If diarrhea occurs, the pool will be closed down for the rest of the day and reopened at regular time the next day. Lifeguards will then vacuum the entire pool and add dry chlorine to pool. This will allow the pool to go through an entire filtering cycle, which can take up to 8 hours.

LOW TOLERANCE POOL POLICY

1ST OFFENSE -Loss of pool privileges for 1 week. Depending on the severity of the incident, minor must appear before the board with parent/guardian. All incidents will be followed by a disciplinary action report. Copy sent to parents.

2nd OFFENSE- Loss of pool privileges for the remainder of the year.

ANY cursing or arguing with lifeguards or other residents, you will be asked to leave the pool and lose your family pool privileges for the remainder of the season. If asked to leave pool area, and you do not cooperate, the board will press charges for trespassing.

ANY incident where the police are called will result in loss of pool privileges for the remainder of the year. *Muldple rule infractions occurring on the same pool visit will result in losing your pool privileges for the remainder of the seasona
